Recently, my neighbor weedwacked a stone into my driver's sliding window. My dealer and some other online resources were telling me the entire window assembly had to be changed for $1500 plus labor. Paraphrasing a movie classic, "Tell me it ain't so!" Well, looking at the DOT number on the glass, I was able to determine the OEM. It turns out to be Atwood Spec-Temp with a subsidiary called Atwood Mobile Products in Elkhart, IN. I talked to Sue Philips at (574) 266-4829. She sent me just the sliding window I needed for $150 plus shipping and it arrived in a week to the west coast. I also asked the cost for the entire assembly and was quoted $872 plus shipping. Quite a difference! This is something to think about whether you have a broken window or fogging problems.

Has you neighbor offered to pay for your repairs? Anyway glad you were able to locate just waht you needed and not the entire window.
Happy Trails

No. He said his gardner denied it even though he admitted weedwacking there. He suggested I park my mh somewhere else. I'm curios what I should do if the rock went through a house window, move the house? I'm going to show him the original repair order for $2,000.

If they won't admit it and you didn't see it happen there's not much you can do to make them pay. Too bad but that's what happens when people aren't honest.

Is your insurance company going to cover it?

I've also dealt with Sue at Atwood. She's a walking encyclopedia. Good people.

Initially, I would have filed an insurance claim. But now the cost is lower than my deductible.
