We drove from Phoenix to Las Vegas today and the roads were in great shape. We stopped to make a sandwich and opened the fridge to find one of the glass shelves over the drawers had shattered I haven't heard of this happening before. I guess that somehow the glass was over stressed and just shattered. I guess I'll call Norcold and try to order a replacement.

OR, you could go to a glass shop with the pieces, with anohter identical shelf if there is one, or an exact measurement and have them cut one and smooth all the edges.

Call National RV Refrigeration in Shipshewana, IN 260-768-7059. Talk to Leon. He has lots of units he "parts out" and sells parts very cheap.

I had the same thing happen, It is tempered glass. I took the other piece of glass (same size) and they talked me into replacing it with plexi glass. They cut a peice for me exact shape for $15.00 I think.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I'll go with the plexiglass fix. Tempered glass is so easy to break on the edges.
