I don't see where anybody mentioned the Beaver Patriot Thunder, one like this 06 doesn't get much better, lots of room, 4 slides and all the bells and horns. The only thing this unit doesn't have is a dishwasher, oh wait it does have one,,,,me.

First motor home

Hi all, I just purchased my first motorhome a 99 Windsor and I love it. I got a great deal and it needed tires so yesterday I put six new Bridgestones on it. Tires are very important as you may or may not know. I am a newbie but something to consider regardless of the coach you select.

What Bridgestones did you buy?

Bridgestone R280's

I bought the Bridgestone R280 295/75R/22.5 LRH. I was concerned about the trailing arm bolt but I talked to Dennis (DtBt) who has the same rig but a 40' and he said they should be fine. The old 275/70's had to have 120psi to meet the load rating. I haven't weighed the coach yet but these new bridgestones are overkill and I can run 100 or 105 psi and still meet the axle rating. Les Schwab also carries these tires so if I ever need one it won't be too hard unless I am in the middle of nowhere (which I plan to do often).
$3877 mounted balanced out the door
