Cannot adjust outside rear view mirrors

My rearview mirrors are power controlled ( 3 independent mirrors on each side) with pow

er controls on the side panel. They used to work just fine. Yesterday, I could not adjust 1 of the mirrors.

Today, I checked the fuse for the mirrors in the front run box and it appears to be good.

Any ideas where to look.

I really miss my remote adjust rear view mirrors.

I'm guessing the motor might be shot or it's passed it's limit. Try moving the mirror manually to a center position and try it again.

If one mirror is not working, but the others are, it's probably not the fuse or the power running to the switch. It's probably not the 4-way rocker switch either. It would almost have to be somewhere after that bad mirror branches off from the main circuit. Things to check:
  • The switch that selects between mirrors
  • The wiring to the mirror
  • the motor on the mirror
