Can't open gray tank

i have a 2003 Beaver Marquees / monico , just getting into RVing , i do a lot of sports car road events and first got into an RV for the simple reason of staying at the tracks while racing.

Needing to understand where a guy should go for help on simple or not so simple stuff ? i can have some things pop up that i know are not big issue but i can seem to figure them out. example, my grey tank is showing open ( the light is on ) however, it is in fact closed and it will not open. how would i reset and at least over ride it so that i can dump the grey ?

the folks at Monico are not really that helpful thus far.

any ideas or direction for me to learn from ?

Are you saying you cannot get the plunger at the valve to pull open, that is is stuck closed?

How full is the tank?

Some have installed a zirk fitting in the side of the valve to pump grease in. Ohters have had sucess pouring a lubricating type fluid down the drain. I don't remember what they used, but I think vegatable oil.
