I am considering purchase of an additional cargo slide for my 2007 Knight. I've heard that some previous manufacturers have stopped building these units. Can anyone tell me who still builds them? I looked at the Kwikee website and would like to see others for comparison. Thanks

Here are two others that I am considering:
Slide Master found at Slide Master - RV Motor Homes
Slim Slider at Slim Slider Products-RV Accessories and Supplies
Depending on where you are located, one might be more convenient. Slide Master is in Wisconsin and Slim Slider is in Idaho.

Been searching for an additional cargo slide for my 2nd pass through storage bay. I finally decided to purchase a Kwikee superslide II from RVExit.com. This was the best price I could find anywhere. The slide is a 90" slide with 39" trim kit. The price $534.90 with free, I said FREE shipping. Shipping cost is normally around $150 so I think I got an excellent price. If you are in the market for a cargo slide, I would highly suggest this website.
Thanks Again for everyone's help!

To bad, I gave away a darn near new one not long ago. I found it took up to much space and added lots of weight.

My coach came with one Kwikee Slide for the front pass-through bay. it is a 1000 lb. bi-directional slide. The second rear bay did not have one due to the location of the Aqua-Hot system and the access to it for service. Even though Monaco had suggested NOT to put one there, I did as it was a PITB to store and retrieve anything in the bay. I bought the same kind, Kwikee Slide - 1000 lb. bi-directional and have absolutely loved it. You can still access the AH system for service as I had my yearly service just done this month by Roger Berke. However when the AH system completely failed back in 2005, they had to remove the entire slide to get the AH out and back in, more time and labor charges, but in the long run it has saved my back and knees trying to store & retrieve stuff from that storage bay.
I wouldn't leave home without having at least two. When I have looked at the brand new high end coaches with the electric cargo bay slides, that would definitely be an upgrade and advantage as I don't have the horizontal opening doors so I still have to bend over a significant amount to grab the door latch and also the release for the slide. Still somewhat of a PITB but at least I don't have to crawl in and out of the bay.

After we got our new coach last month, we had the same situation as Dr4Film - one full width slide in the front bay. Since our old coach had NO SLIDES, I was very familiar with the PITA of dealing with cargo by hand, so I just purchased the same Kwikee Slide 1000# unit that Dr4 describes and my project for this weekend is to install that sucker in the second bay. I don't expect that to be too hard.
I bought it from PPL over in Houston and had it shipped to my office in Lousiana - no sales tax. I thought they had a real good price. The unit is rather heavy, and you need to supply your own plywood and hardware (bolts and screws) but it looks like it will go in pretty easy and the quality of the unit is probably better than the other one that came with the coach.
So, I'll let you'all know if I run into any problems with the install.

Our 2007 Scepter came with one slide in the front bay. When we had the coach back at Monaco in Oregon, (before the bust) for some warranty work, I had them install a slide in the second bay. Cost then was $1100. Love it.
