For all 2006/2007 Monaco owners that did not get the battery isolator that charges your chassis batteries when plugged into shore power, I have obtained the source for the replacement isolator that is used to charge your batteries off any charging source. You can purchase the relay for $49.95 via http://megarvparts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_ id=1

This product was engineered and manufactured by Mega Tech of Oregon as a direct upgrade for Isolator Delay Relays in many different Monaco Coaches.

They have supplied this part to Monaco as their part number #16624716 (Mega Tech # MT960DC) as a replacement/upgrade for part #16619894 (Mega Tech # MT214DC).

This unit is a direct replacement that will monitor and charge both your house and chassis batteries. This will allow both the house and chassis batteries to be charged off of any charging source, whether it is shore power, engine alternator, generator, etc.

The installation of this product is incredibly easy and requires no drilling or modifications to your coach. Simply remove the old card, and install the new one attaching two additional wires.

I installed the unit the other day in less than 30 minutes. It’s quick and easy and works as advertised. Here are pictures to use as a guide during install.

Note: Be sure to disconnect both coach and chassis battery leads, and disconnect from shore power prior to installation.

The replacement isolator looks exactly as the one in your coach except for the two blues wires on the left, that are attached to F2 and F3 posts.

Attachment 1 shows the new isolator installed.

Attachment 2 shows the blue wires attached to posts F2 and F3. It does not matter which wires are attached to the posts.
