For stains, try Instagone. Its available from Amazon. Works great and does not bleach colors.

Cleaning Day/Night Blinds
Hello, this winter the DW kept reminding me that our day/night blinds were in need of cleaning, especially the one located near the dining table. The blind at the table had some stains which looked like spaghetti sauce (probably from her) and other stains. We brought them to a place called American Wallpaper and Design in Fall River Ma.. They put them into a ultrasonic bath solution and two days later all the blinds were unbelievably spotless. We couldn't believe how great they looked (she's tickled pink), they look new (well almost).

Sounds good it works for both night and day blind materials?

Cleaning Day/Night Blinds
Hi 10BOOMER, it cleaned both day and night shades perfectly. We were impressed how white the day shades ended up. Good Luck

We had same, VERY dirty blinds issue (2002 coach). Took them off, soaked in bathtub with oxyclean and DW used some spot remover on real bad spots; had some old iron-out for a few rust spots. Removed from tub, laid out on a table and worked the bad spots, vacuumed with hand wand on carpet cleaner, rinsed & vacuumed again, dried, look about like new except a couple spots. Be Sure to dry folded or the creases will not be good. Wish we had used something like scotchgard when done. LOTS of work but end result was great! Be very careful when reinstalling as i got a screw caught in strings so got learn how to restring a blind too! :(

I took mine off (they were yellowed) and soaked them in a kiddie pool with oxyclean powder. I used liquid oxyclean on tough spots. Soaked for 30 minutes and flipped the other end. So it would fit in the kiddie pool. Rinsed them and rolled them up and wire tired. Let creases dry for 4 hours. Removed wire ties and they look brand new. Did this on metal blinds too.
It worked great

New to us coach blinds were yellowed and many stains. I did not want to go through trying to remove all the blinds so I tried this,
Unbelievable exactly like new. Had to give them a good soaking but came out perfect
Took me 2 bottles to do 5 large windows and 2 small ones both layers on blinds
