..Beware... it could happen to you...you know - that sound of silence - when in all actuality - you should hear that "click click click" when you press the "slide" button.
It turns out that the sound of silence meant we (as in SacsTc) had to replace the Trombetta
motor reversing polarity DC contactor...if we were lucky. The Trombetta
is what works with the motor is what draws the slide in and out. The model used from Monaco factory has a clamp attached to it so it can be clamped around the
tank motor...
at least in our case.

The Trombetta was ordered and arrived so that SacsTC could go to work on replacing it - while we hoped that would take care of the problem.
You can see in this photo the hole you would need to gain access to in case you have to manually pull the slide in...
We were lucky enough that all we needed was the Trombetta motor - this time...
The bad news is the part did not come with the bracket on it..Sacs will make sure it will be securely mounted - but I will also be making the phone call to get the credit for the lack of the bracket on the part. The charge for the bracket to be mounted on that fairly inexpensive part is not cheap!!
Sacs finally read the post and told me what needed to be fixed.. so please re-read it for a better understanding ....
