I have Good Sam right now but have never had to use them which is a good thing. Mine expires the end of March and they already want my money to re-new.

I have heard good things about both of them. I would like to hear from some of you on here that has used either one!

Pros and Cons....

Thanks so much....

I've had G/S and Coach Net and there's not a great lot of difference one to the other.
Either price or services are basically the same programs and benefits.
I've had Coach Net for two years and NO JUNK mail at all. That said I'll stay with Coach Net.

I have both of them. It gives me some options if I have a problem and it is only an extra $100 a year.

Well I Googled them both and they both seem to offer the same services. As far as towing goes. Just wondering if one is better then the other with towing and with service response time.

Thank you for your answers so far.

I have Coach-Net and I love them. Dispatcher was very helpfully and friendly. They sent a tow truck to tow me 80 miles, showed up with 1 hour as I had broke down on I on the side. Driver was very knowledgeable about my 42' Monaco Sig. I think both company's use the same tow trucks. Driver said he tows for both, not much difference.

I've only had Coach-Net and I couldn't be more satisfied. My toad is covered as well with the same membership. No idea about Good Sam, but lots of people like their service too. For me, I won't be changing from Coach-Net.

Send a message via Skype™ to Dr4Film
I specifically use Coach-Net Platinum Service, however, I would suggest doing a iRV2 search using the following search terms and you will have plenty of information to read through regarding previous posts on this very same topic.

Emergency Roadside Service
Good Sam Emergency Roadside Service
Coach-Net Emergency Roadside Service
Good Sam versus Coach-Net Roadside Service

All I know is that Coach=Net came through for me when my hydraulic kitchen slide got stuck halfway when the Lippert pump failed..They found a mobile person who did come out and then he worked with Lippert for the replacement...At the same time, my Carrier rear AC fried...under warranty...the warranty center for Carrier didn't want to do the job as Carrier would not pay for a hoist to lift the AC...this same tech did it and accepted Carrier's payment...

Staying with Coach-Net for good.

I have had and used both and can't say that I have noticed one as being superior to the other. I usually just sign up with which ever one offers me the best deal that year.

I have both. When the poo hits the fan I want as many helpers as I can get. Coach Net also does a better job with 22.5 tires although I have never had to use them. For the extra $99 it's worth it. I have used Camping World Road Care (sams as GS) when I blew a transmission in Terlingua Texas and had to get towed to Odessa Texas and it cost me nothing.

Wow I want to thank each and everyone of you for you input on this subject. It looks they are both very similar in the service they provide. I will continue to research the 2 of them I have Good Sam right now but am a little disappointed at all the junk mail I get sent. They sent me notice the other day to re-new and mine does not even expire until March of 2011. To me that is a little to aggressive, I would not mind a month's notice but 3 months? Of course Trailer Life does the same thing.

Thanks again Lee

They are both about the same. With CoachNet they have tech people that can help you directly and walk you through a fix-it-yourself problem if need be. Also they will make appointments for you at a service center.

Pull up both web pages and compare services for each one.

PS: If you belong to FMCA you will get a discount with CoachNet.
