Yesterday we had a positive experience with MH service. We took our 04 Imperial to Colton Truck in Colton Ca for their "motorhome service". They change the oil and all filters including the coolant filter, do a complete chassis lube and adj the brakes service the batteries, tire pressure and check all belts and hoses. They also checked the coolant ph.

During the service inspection they found and fixed several small leaks and replaced a broken radiator mounting bushing (apparently a common failure item) and gave me a % value of the remaining brake pad available.

The bill for this was $503. They took about 3 hrs to do the job.

Colton Truck is an old shop that is busy and crowded. They were known for great service and great work quality but were very short on customer touchy feelies. They are still short on customer amenities, no waiting room etc but they have really improved their sensativity to customer concerns etc.

By contrast I just recieved a flyer in the mail from the Monaco service center (Oregon) we are scheduled into later in Feb. They are touting $600 for their service pkg for ISL equiped coaches. I think I'll stick with Colton Truck!!

I guess it may depend on how far you have to drive to get to either place and how much more it will cost in fuel to get there.
