Well its Friday the 13th. My wife and I were heading out HWY 26 on our way to Seaside for a weekend of fun. When a 78 year old lady crossed over the center line and hit us head on. She then hit three other cars flipping one over. Due to my wife's calm help we were able to bring our Monarch to a safe stop about 1/4 mile from the site of the accident. I did not know you could get a 33 foot motorhome up on two (three) wheels. The funny part is when we stopped several cans of food came out of the cabinets and were wedged under the lip of the slide out. Does any one know of the best place in the Portland area to have the collision damage repaired. My wife and I are OK physically just a major case of frayed nerves.

Ron- first & foremost...I am glad to hear that the two of you are ok...I hope the others fared as well too.

I will make some contact with a friend of mine in the Wilsonville area.. he may have good contacts.

I will let you know if I find out any info...
Again..I am glad you two are okay...

Glad you and your wife are OK.
If I were you I would call Monaco in Colberg OR and see if they can reccommend a repair center, or better yet see if they can repair it.

Best of luck

Well it turns out my insurance company is going to have my coach repaired at the Monaco Factory Service Center. They are opening a new repair facility next to the factory. I have Progressive Insurance and they have worked with Monaco many times. Progressive is sending out a inspector this week and then they will tow it down to Coburg. Working with Progressive has been a good experience. Not to say I wanted to have to do this but they have been fantastic. I now feel better knowing it will be done by Monaco. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Glad you are OK! Wow! I'm sure that is an experience that we would all dread!!

If Colburg does not work, the ONLY place I would let touch my coach would be these folks.

Thanks. I have to say the coach handled very well. I was able to get it under control and safely to the shoulder. Coburg is going to work thank God. My coach survived much better than the car that hit me. It should be towed to Monaco on Wednesday or Thursday.
