comparing 2004 and 2005 dynasty

I understand the 2004 Dynasty has an interior height of 79", and the 2005 Dynasty has in interior height of 82".

Any other differences between the two years?

Check slideout awning packages. Somewhere along in there they used Carefree window awning that takes two persons to pull them down. It was an over the edge all one piece thing, over the slide and window. My buddy has them on an 03, don't know if they continued in 04 or not..big PIA!! :( Wasn't 04 the first year for one piece windshield??

I ended up with my 05 dynasty after spending quite a bit of time trying to buy an 04 dynasty. The interior height was significant and my 05 has the remote controlled Girard electric awnings for patio and entry door. Seems like I remember something about the TV cabinet between the driver and passenger sticking out quite a bit more on the 04. I also ended up with the residential refrigerator option (not sure if available in 04) Also, I think the "alladin" system was standard in the 05 and not in the 04. Air leveling option would be something to look at. Hopefully someone with an 04 dynasty will chime in and let us know. Here is the location with specs for both. Monaco Coach - brochures (the 04 brochure is not listed but I think it is the same as the 03).

There are bigger differences between the 38-40' and the longer 42' models than there are between the 2004 and 2005.
The 42' model has three AC's and a larger 10k Onan generator. Most (not all) 42' models also have Aqua hot heating.

That said, the Monaco Dynasty is a great coach in any model. It's just finding one that was well cared for and meets your budget.
