Contact info for Monaco OEM parts?

Our door refused to open today, and a locksmith had to drill out the door handle assembly to get to the rods to manually open the door with pliers, which is how I now have to get into the coach. Apparently the upper and lower rods became disconnected. So now I need a new door handle/lock.

Tried to find contact info for Monaco parts, but didn't find any contact number on the Monaco website. Granted, it's late and it's been a stressful day, so I may have just missed it. But does anyone happen to have that info readily available?

Thanks!

Larry

The reason the door latch broke and not the rods came disconnected is. There is a little piece of pot metal with a little lever that pushed on the release lever. If the door is out of adjustment it cannot move far enough and it breaks off that piece when you pull in the handle. To fix the problem you will have to adjust the two latching rods so the travel is shorter. Here is some info on how o do that. https://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v2/eFYLUw...nce%20door.pdf If you do not adjust the rods, you will have the same thing happen to you again.

Agree - do not go through Monaco or you will pay 2-3x. I had to replace the pull handle on my Diplomat last year and through sharing photos and schematics with Trimark (the handle maker) was able to get the correct part and fix it myself. You can find my report here:

Thanks one and all for your responses. Tried several times right after they opened to get through to Monaco: long, long hold time with messages constantly saying how important the call was to Monaco and how the goal is to have great customer service, then a system shuffle to a forced leave-a-message queue. Almost 4 hours later, still no callback. So much for great customer service.

Called TriMark, very short hold, talked with Parts, sent pictures to them (which I wouldn't have thought about without the post on here - good idea!), and should have replacement in-hand Wed.

C&SL: I couldn't get the PDF to load. Is there another place I might be able to read it?

Again, thank you all!

There you go! And you probably saved $100 to boot! The woman that I worked with at Trimark really seemed to know what she was doing.

And now I have the rods better adjusted and I can open the door with a pinky. Before it was a struggle.
