We have a 98 Monaco Signature with Cummins M11. The coolant hose that runs from the recovery tank (Volvo tank) to the engine has failed. The inside diameter is 1" and is under 3' in length. There is a wire coiled in the rubber material. I do not think it is original as its one end is stretched slightly larger than an inch while the recovery end is not stretched.
Does the hose need the wire built in? Does the wire stop the hose from collapsing?
I think the original hose may be molded to fit better,
Does anyone have a part number and manufacturer for this hose?
Thank you Steve Jordan

Have you tried Monaco parts and see if it is listed ....1 877.466.6226?

You can try this Goodyear PDF catalog. They have hoses with wire on page 24 and reducers on page 20.

You are going to probably have to take the hose off and measure both ends the hose has to fit on with calipers.

I just now finished dealing with the same problem. I went to West Marine and bought Marine exhaust hose. The wire allows the hose to bend without kinking.
