2004 Endeavor.
I have notice while on rough roads or driving through a rutted parking lot that I experience a creeking noise from the left windshield "A" post just above the dash between the drivers window and windshield. When I put my hand on the garnish panel I can feel the movement which is extremely minor.

Wrapped around the steel cage at this post are wooden inner structure that forms the windshield frame. There is no signs of the windshield having any movement within the windshield frame.

The wooded structure has mechanical fasters as well as structural glue.

I believe that that the sandwiched wooden inner structure fasters and or glue has partially failed and what I am experiencing is a few pieces of wood creeking simular to a creeking wooden floor sound with an occasional poping noise.

Can I fish plate this wooden structural with a piece a plywood and attach with mechanical fastners and structural glue?

Has any one had the same problem and if so how did you correct?

I would call the manufacturer or a auto glass company and ask them.

Good Luck
