"Creeping" generator compartment

What causes the generator compartment to "creep" out when driving? Had service checked fluid level and possible leaks..

Try running it all the way out and hold the toggle switch down after it stops going out. Let it (hydraulics) to continue to run for about 5 seconds or so. Then toggle it back in and when it hits the stops, continue to hold down the toggle for about 5 seconds again. See if this helps. If it doesn't help, sounds like the hydraulics are leaking somewhere. Sometimes you can see a leak and sometimes the leak is internal past a seal. Let us know if the in and out process works first.

Quite a few new members make the same mistake when asking for help - the year and model of your coach are often needed as there are different ways that these things are installed and controlled.

On my 06 Beaver the genset sometimes creeps out when parked. I think in my case I have a hydraulic valve that does not close perfectly. I also have one slide that will move for a second after you release the switch (assuming it is partly open when you do this).

Again this is a valve that is not closing quickly. In my case it is worse when the system is cold.

Believe he has an 02 monaco windsor 38. Had to go to his profile and past posts to get the info. Agree that it would help a lot if that info was in everyones signature. Saves a lot of hunting to get info.

Went to my coach yesterday to do a few things and give it its monthly exercise and sure enough, my gen set had crept out about 3 inches.
