Lets clear this up - sensor which sits on coolant tank is a CLS (Coolant Level Sensor) - usually is programmed to warn the driver in case that it is programmed in ECM to shutdown (it can be) you need to jump the wires, or call for towing. Just make sure you got plenty of coolant before you jump the wires. The one in the engine block is the CTS (Coolant Temperature Sensor) and I would not mess with it - it is your last line of protection before you damage the engine. That sensor should be Cummins. I will look it up tomorrow and let you know if it different.

hey rex. thanks a bunch for the info. kinda thought it might be a ford part because of having to buy a ford wiring harness. don't really know yet going to go pick up the coach this week.
67wildbill, the picture is of a fairly new sensor I picked up last year. Thought it would fit the new Monaco coolant tank for my coach but it would not. Takes an entirely different unit.
My Temp gauge on the dash is also inop but the Coach Data on the back up monitor has temperature info??? Are they the same sensor? If so I know my problem is with the gauge or wiring to the gauge. I did find a detached green and white wire back behind the battery drawer (under coach) hanging down. That may also be it?
