I used the search feature, but no luck. Does anyone know of a supplier for a big floor mat that would cover the tile entry and driver's area? We saw these on a number of Class A's at Lazy Days. Coming from a Class C, I feel like we are tracking a lot of dirt into our "house" since it is not in a contained cab area. I would love to find a supplier that already has a pattern for our model.

We would also be interested in front floor mat. We saw them at RV show, but could not find info on where to purchase.

I finally found one web site, www.rvcarpetbaggers.com. Looks like they send you a template and custome make a mat at $265 plus shipping. I will check with Lazy Days as well. If no one stocks mats and we need to make a template, we might come out a lot cheaper buying our choice of in stock carpet and paying to have it bound at a carpet shop. Or, maybe even some sort of rubber mat type stuff with grooves that does not need to be bound? Still interested if anyone else has any ideas.

$265 seems kind of steep. I bought a floor mat that you use under a office chair at Stapels for a whole lot less. It was easy to cut. I custom cut it to fit in the drivers floor area. Works great keeping the carpet clean plus it's easy to keep to clean. You could buy two and cut one to fit by the passanger and the stairs. The mats have those little grippies that keep them from moving around on carpeting.

Greg--Great idea, I will go to Office Depot and check it out. I thought $265 was a little steep as well. It is not any kind of expensive carpet, I am sure it's just the custom fabrication aspect.

The floor mats you see at Lazydays are built by a company which is housed at Lazydays facilities, Wade RV www.waderv.com Try their web site for info. I believe they make custom mats for all coaches.

We had ours made and installed at Lazy Days by Wade RV. It wasn't cheap. Three yrs. later and it still looks great. I don't think you will be happy with cutting the chair mats.

Greg. Isn't the slick side of the mat hard to deal with?
I have a 1999 Pacer with a drivers side door-It's hard enough for this old man to get into without having to deal with a slick plastic floor.
It still sounds like a great idea because I'm tired of all the junk carried in on my shoes.

I-Love-Ramblin and Bill, thanks for the info on Wade's. I had not been able to find anything on Lazy Days site. Wade's said they measure even if they already have a template for the particular coach. Cost is $300 includes matching rugs for inside steps and for $35 more, they will do outside step. Takes a full day to complete. I am still going to investigate making our own template and having carpet of our choice edge bound at a carpet place. It may or may not be cheaper, but I bet I will have more options. If not, we can take it to Lazy Days. I just hate to drive down there if I can avoid it.
Definitely, GO GATORS!

There are different quality floor mats with different kinds of surfaces. I never had much luck with the very cheap ones in my home office. The one I used in the MH was an old one I took out of the house. It was a inexpensive one, but works just fine in the MH. The constant rolling of an office chair can crack up the cheap ones. I cut it with avation snips to pretty much cover the whole area by the driver. Never had any issues with it being slippery when wet, but of course by the time you make it over to the drivers seat your shoes are pretty dry. If a place like Stapels dosen't have what you like try another office supply store.
