In just over a month we will be back "on the trail". We are already excited and have started to pack some of the bare essentials: Longboat / check, dried meat from reindeer / check, big sword and shield / check, 1½ gallon of sweet beer per person per day / check

Starting end of September we are back in Florida with a schedule for 3 month that looks something like this:

2½ weeks in southern Florida - Atlanta - Nashville - Memphis - Natchez Trace Parkway - New Orleans - Houston - Rockport, TX - Weslaco, TX - Canyon lake, TX, Bandera, TX and finally Medina Lake outside San Antonio.

We normally tape an IRV2 sticker with our IRV2 name in our windscreen and on the back our both our Rv and our toad we have a small Danish flag (you all know what that looks like of course ).

We sincerely hope that other IRV2'ers will knock on our door and say hello when you meet us along our route.

Don't be a stranger

You are absolutely right. I just hate it when we every day have to realize that we didn't bring enough. Thank you for your support

Now I think you have it covered. Can't have enough of the essentials.

While you are in Houston, give a big shout to the Texas Boomers in the area. Maybe we get a few of us together fro a Mexican food and margarita run.

The first part of October is a great time to visit Texas. Talked to some friends yesterday and it was 104 F in Dallas. While in the Rockport area and If you get a chance visit the Aransas Wildlife Refuge. Lots of birds pass through the area on the way south.

Our paths may cross if our planned visit to the Florida keys takes place and lunch will be on us.

Take care

We may just meet you somewhere along that path for some sweet beer. But, as ken said, when in Houston give a holler, or blow the (what do they call that) horn that looks like a cow horn.

Tank you for your message Hal.

According to our plan we should be at Canyon Lake from the 3rd to the 5th of December. We would love to meet up with "the boomers" if possible.

Did I hear "margarita run"? Count me in! Mexican food sounds good too. The Danes definitely need to stop here now.
