Second fan controller installed 07 Dynasty. Is there a company that is rebuilding or repairing Danfoss hydraulic electronic fan controller?

Try these folks Source Eng they have a kit that they sell that will convert from the problem prone elec control to a loswax type controller that dont give the problems the elec control does.

Walt: I think Source stopped selling to the public. I could not find any fan controllers on the web site.

Nope, not Source. There was another company in the North West that did. Don remember their name, but they were a sponsor of IRV2 for a while. When Monaco/Navistar got back into business, this company got out of the retail business and started only selling to RV manufactures.

Source is the Company that developed the trailing arm replacement kit and some upgrades to the Roadmaster chassis for Diplomat and other coaches. They also are selling radiators and other equipment.

Rex I could be wrong but I think Chuck posted that info a while back on Monacoers and as you know Chuck is our resident fan control specialist. I have a email on the way to Chuck now.
Thanks mosheh I will try and confirm the location.

Thanks Rex and Walt. I did know that Monaco used different fan controller systems and that many were problematic. I do not know which system I have on the Dynasty as Monaco wentffrom the Danfoss system to an Italian system. Do not know if that was : a lateral move, downgrade or upgrade. I do not like Italian Hydraulics.

Thank you, for showing an interest in my Danfoss issue. I feel there is someone rebuilding/repairing these valves.
The real problem is Monaco has prioritization with Danfoss Sauer manufacturing which disallows vendors from selling directly to user, there fore inflating retail cost. I discovered the inflated pricing is in the neighborhood of $200 over actual retail.
Back order on this product runs normally 4 to 5 weeks. Explaining the high failure rate.
I believe this prioritization was established before Navistar. Monaco should be ashamed of resorting to such practices.

Well Chuck does say that Source is the place and to talk to Scott, I will past below. Chuck is generally right on anything associated with the hydraulic fan control. LS Give Scott a call cant hurt anything to try and the loswax controller is basically trouble free.

From Chuck
Scott Zimmer at Source. See pic. 541-935-0308. Tell Scott I said hello.
