I turned on the Blower switch and selected heat, then it smelled funny and quit. In previous post someone suggested the resistor stack???, or the fan motor could be out. My questions are:
1. First how do I gain access to the fan motor?
2. If it's the resistor stack, where is it located if anyone knows.

In looking at it from the genset compartment, no fan motor, so I am assuming it's behind the dash. But without cutting the thing open, is there an access port, or a way to get into it so I can replace it?

See Signature below for MH information. Thank you in advance.

There's no access port to get to your heater motor. You have to take your dashboard apart primarily on the passenger side. The heater motor sits just behind the front of the dashboard just to the right of the center drawer unit that holds up the middle of the dash.

Does the heater motor not work at all? Or just on high speed? If it works only on high speed, then your resistor pack is burned out. That is probably on the heater box ahead of the front firewall. Not sure exactly where on your year of Dynasty.

If the heater motor does not work at all, then it's either the heater motor itself, or a Bosch relay. Unfortunately, that Bosch relay is also hidden up inside the dashboard.
