Dash air comes on intermitantly

Today my dash air finally came on after being on the road for about an hour. Fortunately, we were able to run the gennie and turn #1 & #2 a/c to keep cool while driving to Albuquerque. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
God bless all our veterans and active military.

Are you talking about the fan or the compressor? Either could be a bad ground or loose connection.

Details please, what does "come on" mean?

Blows hot then cold
Don't blow then does

Sorry. I meant the blower does not come on. When it does, it AC is cold. Bad ground?

Probably one of three, loose connection, bad ground, bad switch. Reach up behind and wiggle everything you can find, find the blower motor and touch a wire from the case to a known good ground, good luck.

Why do you ask this on the Monaco forum? Might be the same, might not.

Are you suggesting that a Monacos don't have grounds? Some issues are brand specific, but this one is most likely common across all.

Good news. I opened the hatch over the speedometer, reached in and wiggled the connections to the blower switch. It worked!!!
Thanks all. This forum is terrific.

Able to tighten anything up, or elect to leave the hatch loose ??

Happy you found the problem so easily, those things can drive you nuts
