daylight running light

Anyone have experience in installing a daylight running light on a 2001 Monaco Diplomat Diesel 38ft? Importing the coach to Ontario and needs the install.

While I have not done this, there is a relay socket in the front run for DRL. It is inside the large fuse box and is loose in there, meaning it is wired in but is not part of the circuit board in that box. In my coach it is labeled.

If you don't have schematics for this coach, contact me direct rbdtanasi at gmail and I will send them to you in PDF form.

You can buy the DRL Module at Canadian Tire. They also do the Inspections for the RIV!

I've had this done to two vehicles - once to a 1996 Cutlass Sierra I imported and once to my current motorhome. Both times required installation of a Daytime Running Light module and knowledge of which wires to splice it into for the specific vehicle wiring harnesses. GM Canada referred me to a dealer who knew what to do for the car, and Kingston RV Centre (who do this often) did the motorhome when they imported it from the US. Hope this helps. Good luck.
