Walt, thanks so much for your info. This is what I was looking for. I have it in for service now so I am passing this along to the service rep. They should know this already but it never hurts to make sure.

You may want to double check with the tech doing the work.

I took mine to a respected shop (Hendersons in Oregon) and their
guy 'adjusted the ride height for the crown of the road'.

Which meant while on level ground my Diplomat was not level.

Another shop (Source Engineering) spotted and re-adjusted the problem.

Bukzin i have never heard of anyone adjusting the ride height for the crown of the road. The ride height valves will do that automatically, thats their job. it is important that the ride height be set on a level area and using the Monaco posted ride height. On your 06 Dip the front should be 8 13/16 and rear 9 1/16 from the air bag plates.

ride height

I have a 2000 dynasty with rear end noise. After reading some post on ride height I think this could be the problem. Thanks for the instructions on how to measure and adjust. I will be a happy camper if this fixes my noise as my old dp was quiet inside.

Thanks

Make sure you aren't hearing a universal joint. If a universal lets go it can cause serious damage.

Dadej if you could give us more info on the rear end noise, have you been greasing the drive shaft regular if not the noise could be a U joint going out. I have posted the procedure on this forum before on the ride height procedure with pictures and spec and would do again for you not able to as i am on my Ipad, do a search or when i can get to my home computer i will re post. Be sure to check your U joints and grease regulary, if you loose one they can make a mess under the coach.

Dadej here are the files and a little more info on your Dynasty adjustment that I posted a few months back of what I found out about using the old procedure verses the new procedure

Ride Height on 2000 Dyn the New way and Old way

I am posting the measurements of the ride height on our 2000 Dyn, I have always
said that the ride height on our 2000 coach should be set according to the old
method of measuring from H frame to Main frame and not the Air bag plates. I
just got through re setting the ride height the rear is set at 11 inches I set
it the old way and checked the air bag height from the top of the bottom flange
to the bottom of the top flange it measures 8 inches, the front ( 9.5 ) could not set I
have a bad ride height valve but it was in 1/8 to 3/16 low the air bag was also
8 inches. I called Monaco tec and was told to set by using the air bag height
but after I gave him my figures he said he didnt know when the procedure of
measuring the air bags was supposed to start but it looked like it was 03??
So all you pre 03 Coach owners be aware,
