Well.... if we take that statement and split it in two....

They got the new unit installed and running in under 40 minutes! That would be the good news. The bad news is that it doesn't work The compressor kicks on, but nobody's home.

So, out to the rally we go. Hopefully they will be able to fix it out there.

And the heat goes on....

My issues are mere gnats compared to what you guys are experiencing! I know why I didn't buy a new $250,000 coach now! Well, that and the $250,000! Seriously guys, that sux for y'all.

The local pvt tech told me that they have many NEW coaches come in with issues as you are having too.

The water in the front overhead sounds familiar. Mine turned out to be either the windshield gasket (prime suspect) or the sat dish penetration. Tech did both at the same time. I suspect the gasket because the leak seemed to be "position-sensitive" (whether the jacks were deployed and the body under torque stresses).

Now, as for that wine, my rule-of-thumb is that if you can't screw the top back on there are three possible reasons:
1-you paid too much
2-you ain't gittin' drunk enough
3-you did git drunk enough

WE are loaded/packed (both packed as in stuff and packed as in all three dogs are straining at their leashes to get in the coach). Heading to P'cola for a week. Taking this old 'puter and hoping for wifi so I can get my daily fix of IRV2 too.

Won't some people never be satisfied? The front-cap leak is SUPPOSED to be that way, it's like a windshield-washer for the inside!

We had the same interior front-cap roof-leak. Fortunately, ours manifested itself right there in Camp Wildwood's parking-lot while the tech was writing up some other issues. Since it was so intermittent, he got right on it to see where it was leaking. Most of the front interior came off or was pulled back to check things closely.

Turns out, it wasn't a leak per se, but heavy condensation on the inside fiberglas of the cap. We had endured a good rain early that nite, and the humidity was its usual 185% inside and outside. Because we like to sleep cold, the coach was quite chilly in the back so when the colder air hit the warmer air from the front, we had our own rainforest with heavy fog. Very little insulation along the top-edge contributed to the problem.

Hope your is as easy to track-down and fix.

Ron

That is great news, Teofff! The Pins and I will see the 4 of you tomorrow!
...BTW - you will want to unhook the toad on the street that you turn BEFORE you make the turn onto our street. There is a sign that says "no parking". They have always allowed us to unhook there without a problem.
We'll be looking for you!

Well,I expect tp see the two "Teofffs" in about an hour. I suspect SacsTC is either watching the race or washing the truck while I start to make up a dish for Teofff to drop by to Ron on his way to the Monaco rally.

I believe SacsTC has only a few things left to be taken care of this next week. The biggest thing now is that we are waitng on the new radiator grill. (see page 4 for a photo) Once it comes in....it has to go to the paint shop. Remember... the wrong grill was shipped out here already. Hopefully, it will not take another 3 weeks to get here.

I know the carpets were cleaned on Friday afternoon along with them putting the piece that attached the awning to the rig back on...although SacsTC had to walk out while they put it on. (It evidently did not fit properly - so it was forced on).

He has also moved to a different site at Camp Monaco. He can now pull the truck over by the rig ...and he has a little more room around him. (I expect another picture today, Sacs!)

I will tell you .... I cannot wait till he gets home ...it won't be any noisier (that's how it is when I come home! ) but it sure will be much more comfortable to snuggle with him at nights instead of one of those goofy pillows!

HURRY HOME SACS!!

It looks like Camp MonacoMama RV Park has issues with the driveway. (evidently only the Mama Monaco can make it up the driveway!) Teofff will be checking in to the CalExpo campground for the evening ... but the MonacoMama cafe will still be serving dinner...
