Well...this has got to be a first... I have opened up the house! It is 64 outside (compared to SacsTC's temp in Harrisburg of 72 ) If anyone knows Sacramento ... you know that we do NOT get temps of 64 by 8PM in July through mid- September.

Bruce (aka Teofff) and his wife Gloria just left. We had a lovely visit and dinner. together. They decided to leave their 2 furkids in the RV at the other campground - so we would not have to keep an eye on all four of the dogs at the same time.
We have also discussed trying to have a Monaco Owners Forum rally sometime next year...anybody else interested?

While Monaco Mama's Campground sure did present some challanges for me, and as Mama said, we had to find an alternative campground...however, the really good news was that Mama's Cafe and wine bar was excellent, and Mama was great company...Gloria and I had a great time visiting with Mama and the Pins. To bad SACS couldn't be there, but I know he was busy with his quilting and bead classes at Camp Monaco. As Mama said, we want to plan a Monaco Forum get together some where next year!!

Well, it has been quiet at Camp Monaco.
SacsTC is still waiting for the radiator grill to get in. It will then go to "paint". Sacs also worked on a list of things he felt was looked at, partially done, but not completed. He will make sure he gets them finished before he comes home. I don't want Sacs to come home before everything is done - but I am getting bored for him & without him - as much as he is bored himself.
Sacs was so bored that he started waxing the Silverado...he has plenty of time - so he will do ita bit at a time...

...me...well, I will either go take an Excedrin PM or close up the house, pour a glass of wine and then go soak in the tub so I can get a good night's sleep tonight... now then ....which of the two do I do ......

As Mama and SACS already know, we are currently camping at Corning Truck & RV Repair...left Sacrameto on our way to the pre-rally in Salem, broke down in Corning, CA...enine knock, and no power.....valve cover off...2 bent push rods...appears the keeper (that holds the push rod) came off one of the rockers...one visably bent, the other just slightly. Also found a problem with a leak in the pack brake...that was a fairly easy fix. The techs, and especially Gloria and I are hoping their is no damage to the crank...won't know until the parts get here..hopefully tomorrow, and they reassemble, and hand crank it....keep your fingers crossed!!! Like Rosana, Rosana Dana used to say: "if it ain't one thing, it's another"
We were going to bring supplies to SACS at Camp Monaco...unfortunatly he won't be gettign any supplies from us, unless of course, he stops in Corning on his way home...that's assuming we haven't eaten them by then!!!!

Sacs..you want to tell them the real truth?
He has decided that this thread has become so entertaining that he is going to stay up there indefinitely! Actually.. .we think that the "powers that be" at Monaco has decided to keep him there ...just to keep this thread going.... ....not buying that one either?
We actually don't know. All the little things were taken care of today...but the pesky radiator grill still as not shown up....
or if it has ..they are keeping it from him. I have no idea how long it will take after they get it painted before he can drive home with it ...but if it needs to cure ...then I vote for them to get it fitted on there ...make sure everything is good..
then take it to paint and let Sacs put it in the bay underneath to let it cure on the way home....
We are sooo ready for him to get out of there...but he does have the truck...he can go to the store and buy food......but he needs some nutrition for his soul... which is here at home!
...so .. short answer... we don't know...

Some of my parts were SUPPOSEDLY overnighted from the factory (I think they said Indiana), and are SUPPOSED to get here tomorrow....the finger nail bitten part is waiting to see if the crank is damaged....everyone seems to feel it isn't....but, with my luck. Besides, Corning must be just about as exciting as your location...only I don't have the craft classes to keep me busy. I spent part of today washing windows, polishing the MH, etc.
