<<<<<<<<<<<UPDATE D NEWSFLASH>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>>>
SACSTC will NOT make it home tomorrow!!!!

....but there is a trim piece that came in this afternoon that they will put on tomorrow morning. They will then finish up the paperwork...and then he will head home. I am thinking he will get to Valley of the Rogue State Campround tomorrow and then finish the trip home on Saturday. Knowing him...he will be here somewhere close to noon.
The travel plans are unconfirmed ...will keep you updated with current travel arrangements as they come in - BUT I suggest that if you see this rig on the road...

...please move over...he won't be stopping for anyone!

Mister MonacoMama,
Glad to hear the good news on your early release date for good behavior.

We are waiting on some parts from our dealer and I'm just waiting for them to say your radiator cover is the cause of our delay. They've used every other excuse.

My DH has been reading about the modificiations everyone has done on their rigs, and he would like to know where you got the "Articulating Arm" that you used on the backside of your TV?

Thanks, Mic

So sorry to hear of everyone's trials and tribulations, and delays... we know what it's like. We'll be driving past Diamond Hills tomorrow morning (well, close anyway, heading North on I5)... on our way to Chehalis, WA for a Motorcyle event. (Glad to hear Sacs is heading home!!). Then, back south for a stop in Ashland to visit my son and his girlfriend there. I do hope everyone gets all of the gremlins worked out quickly (and as inexpensively as possible). Ours just came home from repairs at a different repair facility than we had used in the past... everything seemed okay, till we tried to dump the gray tank (which they just changed the valve and switch on because it wasn't working)... want to guess what happened?

I'll wait...

Okay... it's still not working. But, it's not a show stopper... there is a manual emergency valve... and we do have a working gennie and A/C (knocking wood), so we're happy!

Good luck, safe travels!

What they are telling me is that the valve adjustment is supposed to be a one time event within the frist 100,000 miles. Tim Kelly is the Cummins Rep I talked with, and he did seem like a straight shooter....the fact that he was willing to try was pleasing to me!

Sacs,
You know that was only meant as a compliment.

I was going to send you a Private Message and ask about the TV modification, but I wasn't sure how "you-know-who" would take to you engaging in private conversation about the backside of your mod.

Plus, I wasn't sure you would even see my message if I kept it on the QT. I knew would help me out & get you to read it.

As entertaining as this thread is, I've learned something almost everyday. Thanks! Mic

Teofff,
Maybe the two of you can drive down for BBQ on one of the two weekend days...but then ... we are talking a couple of hours drive...aren't we?

...and I thought Mama's cafe was worth it!

RVtips:
It is an 01 Dynasty with the 350....60,000 miles....everyone: dealer, Cummins and the techs here at the shop doing the repairs say it is highly unusual to see this kind of failure. In fact, the lead tech said first one in 9 years he has seen...lucky me
