Hello,
With the recent drop in the crude oil prices diesel is down to $2.19 a gallon in our area.
I'm curious what it is in your area and what geographical area of the United States will have the lowest price.
We're located in the S.W. corner of Indiana.

Wow $2.19 a gallon that's great. It's still about $2.79 a gallon out here in SoCalif. I'm hoping it drops soon.

$2.49-$2.56 here in north-central Florida. Diesel is taxed higher than gas here, so it's always relatively high.

Indiana always seems to get lower prices and earlier than the rest of the country.

Best price I've seen in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is about $2.39.

$2.19...Wow!

The lowest I've seen locally in PA is $ 2.65. Might be few cents lower at the bigger stations.

I agree with the best price here being $2.39. - and that is at a truck stop. Most of the the regular service stations that carry diesel in this area are still selling it at $2.55.

Enjoy it while it's here, amazing that it sounds like a bargain.
Here in So. La. just outside of the Big Easy it's $2.30 @a local truck stop, $2.40ish further West along the Gulf Coast. This is the same place that produces 35% of the oil in the US and we've got 10 refinerys within a 50mi. radius. Should be the cheapest in the country. Did a search of FJs on Diesel Boss yesterday, In. & Ky. were among the lowest in the country, used to be Ok. and Ga. Iran is due to rattle the sabers soon and the futures traders will drive the price up again.

2.38/gal is the cheapest I could find in MN. Our fuel is winterized so it's probably going to be higher than straight # 2 - plus we have the Wesson oil in it too.

Ecker - I like your quote "--- a tax is a fine for doing well"

Down here south of Houston Tx. some stations are around $2.35-2.39. Many are higher, but there is one station in Alvin at $2.14. It's a Citgo, but oddly enough, there is very little business there. I guess the word is getting out.....
