Digital to analog

After installing the new flat screen tv ,Panasonic, I discovered that the new set only transmits out sound through a digital plug. Of course my radio, which I guess acts as an amplifier,is analog.

Is there a simple solution to converting the digital to analog, in order to use the radio to power my overhead speakers?

Gefen makes an inexpensive but quality wigit to convert digital audio to analog. The digital input can be either coax or optical. Typical street price is about $50 to $55. Here is the link to Gefen's site:

Might be cheaper wigits out there but Gefen is good stuff. Comes with a 110v wall wart
