I have a 2002 Endeavor 3 slides when I retrack the Dinette slide the front part at the drivers seat of the slide will not set down on the floor it sticks up about 2" I trip over it a lot, the rear sets down on the carpert like it is supposed to. The outside is flush with the side of the MH fits perfect, and when you extend it every thing fits flush like it is supposded to. Is this something I can do or do I need to take it to a Monaco Dealer. This has been like this for a long time, was going to buy new but changed mind to old to think of another one. Will keep what I have. Thanks for all replys. Roy

Roy,
Tough one. When the slide is in, my '04 Dip has the same gap at the front (and less of a gap at the rear) that you're describing. Whereas this gap may have increased (just a bit) over the years, my method of solution was to not let it bug me. And when I trip over it, I remind myself of Jimmy Stewart (in "It's a Wonderful Life") and the loose finial on his step's newel post. You just gotta love it.

My 2007 Monarch Full Slide does the same thing when retracted but only sticks up slightly in the front. Kind of bugs me, but doesn't seem to bother anything. Outside lines up perfectly when slide is in or out since new.

Sofa is right behind driver seat and has about 8" section of carpet from sofa bottom inward toward aisle. There is a hard clear thick plastic under the carpet to hold it up and it seems to me that it holds the carpet higher in that area making it look like a larger gap. (less carpet area ie less sag weight on plastic support)

A few months after I bought the rig new, I had the slide rubber replaced under warranty and they moved the slide up and down due to first installing too large of a seal, but the higher looking front inside portion has remained the same as when new when the slide is in.

Don't have your tripping problem, but would be interested to see what your solution is if you decide to try to get an adjustment made.
