diplomat vs Diplomat LE

A friend is looking at a 2001 40 ft Diplomat. It has all the options but it has a book value of over 10k less than the LE. But his options are like the LE. Same engine and 7.5 genset. Is there something he is missing in understanding the value difference? Thx.

I would have to guess differences in base price and/or options in some way...

I think it was just a better paint job and upscale interior, all the options were available to both.

I'm thinking that the Le was full body paint.

Oh, didn't know full body paint was not standard ?!? that would be a $10k difference or so (at least it was on my redwood 5'er)
