Disabling ABS on a Monaco Knight
Please try to hold back on lectures about why I should not disable my ABS system. I am simply looking to run a test to compare driving with and without ABS functioning on my coach. Attached in a picture of the fuse panel in one of my rear compartments. I would assume that pulling the 25 amp power fuse would be the way to do this and leave the other fuses in place? Thanks in advance.

The answer to the why question is because I am trying to isolate a problem that I think is related to the ABS system. If the system works fine without ABS, I have found my problem. Honestly I can live without it. I have spent many years behind the wheel of a DP and If I ever had to engage ABS on a 25,000 lb motorhome towing a 3500lb toad, I am totally screwed anyway.

What facts lead you to want to test the ABS system? Maybe if you state the problems you think you have, we may be able to help.

You might want to remove the ABS warning light on the dash too because it will be glowing red all the time with the fuse gone.

EVO (Harley?)--it's really hard to ask a question on this forum sometimes without getting knee-jerk reactions from folks who either never read your post or did not comprehend it.
Mike (Drifter) is right, though. Tell us what problem you are REALLY chasing and someone might have some actual experience with it. I understand what you are doing...just don't know why.

Well said....on both points.
BTW OP, you might also do a forum search here to see if someone has already experienced and solved the possible issue. Unfortunately, all TOO often we see folks that seek help with a problem and gather info from posters here....and we never find out the results. Very sad, really. If you determine that there is a problem and you solve it, please let the rest of know, OK? Sharing info on the forum is extemely helpful to a lot of us....Thanks!
