Have you considered watching All My Children on the net when you get to your destination rather than trying to catch it while driving down the road?

My old dip had a fuse I could pull under the driver fuse box, if not then remove the TV and remove the 12 volt line from the TV plug in box, dont get into the 110 volt.

nwokhunter.......There should be a 5 amp fuse in the driver's bay fuse panel. I don't use my TV while driving, but it was a pain if you needed to adjust the levelers or even have the TV running while you're trying to position the coach for the satellite.

If you must, you must, I recommend finding a different outlet, perhaps the one the House Radio is plugged into.

NOTE: That cut out is there for a reason, If it is even remotely possible for the driver to watch TV while the vehicle is in motion it is required by Federal Law.

Most states have nice stiff fines when some person who considers himself to be underapid and overworked and happens to have the authority to do so notices it and pulls you over.

My 04 HR Imperial has a 12v relay that controls the 120vac to the TV. It is in the cabinet with the TV. I simply unplugged the connector to the relay and the TV will now stay on.
The need for the TV on while driving was a throwback from my Safari days. The Safari didn't have a display for the rear camera, it was displayed on the front tv. When we got our new HR I didn't want to have to keep looking down at the dash to see where I'd been! I since fixed that when I installed a flat screen in the cabinet I mounted a 10" flipdown monitor under the cabinet on the driver side to display the rear view and the Aladdin info. It's much safer to have the video info on that screen that having to look down at the dash screen which is about 6" and partially obscured bu the steering wheel.
I asked a CHP Officer at a rest stop if the setup might attract the wrong kind of attention and he kinda laughed and said as long as I'm not watching entertainment on it it's OK. He also said the some truckers had two or three screens situated around the dash area and are in the line of sight to the outside but as long as there is no obstruction or they're not watching TV programming it's OK.
