OK - found a hammer and it's now off the side. Forget about bringing a hammer Bill - bring a bucket of Plastic Padding instead.
...and now for the correct answer:
Drifter is parked almost next to us in Tucson. He came over and showed me how.
You cut around the small cover that says "Voyager". It has been stuck on with a dab of silicone. Then gently flip the cover off. That reveals 2 screws that you remove. Now cut carefully around the camera cover where this has been siliconed. Now you can remove the complete camera cover.
The camera is fixed on a bracket which is fixed to the coach body with 4 screws. Remove them and the entire camera fixing comes off. A wire goes through a rubber grommet. Remove the grommet and you will find a connection immediately behind this.
We cleaned the connection. Applied a bit of dielectric grease and reconnected. Tested the ncamera that now seems to work and reversed the whole project including reapplied the silicone joints.
As usual - easy when you see how it's done.
Thanks Drifter
