Unit is an '07 Cayman. The multi-function display in the instrument cluster is kaput. It shows what must be the test pattern, all segments of all digits are lit. This first appeared on the ride home after delivery. The dealer did something (he said "reset") and it worked normally for quite a while. Since then, is works intermittently and never acts up when I take it to a dealer. They say that it isn't screwed up at the time, they can't troubleshoot it. Now, I'm 1000 miles from home and it is permently on the fritz. Any ideas about what a "reset" might be?

Start looking for a bad ground. There should be a ground that the instruments are connected to. May be on the firewall on the right side of the steering column.

Greg,
My 07 Neptune had that happen on a trip last summer. Honestly, I'm trying to remember how I was told by Monaco to correct it. I think it was to turn off the chassis battery disconnect switch. I left it off for at least an hour. It worked after I did that.

Sorry about the foggy memory. I must have stored my memory when I stored the MH for winter.
