What year/model coach do you have.

If I were to remove my door handle I would have to remove the inside door cover. To do this I would also have to remove the inside window flange, if you do this make sure to secure the window to the outside as there may be no adhesive or seal holding it in.

I have a 2006 knight and recently replaced the outside door handle - Yup I removed the inner door panel to get unbolt and remove the latch linkage - Tape the window in so it does fall out when the inner frame is removed good time to adjust the latchs and lube everything that moves. There is a post on how to make all the adjustments that will make the door easy to open.

Actually ...took so long to get a reply...I tore into it myself...Turns out the entire rear of the door does NOT have to come off...You can get in there to do all you have to to change the handle...Just pull the bottom of the back of the door out so you can have enough access ...Little tricky ...took a little time ...But worked out without ENTIRE door disassembly.....But Thanks for the responses anyway...Hope this saves others time and needless removal of parts ...
