Double Vision Double Vision

So I replaced my TV's with new LCD and was delightfully surprised the great picture I got even off the stock antenna. However the RV was equipped with a DVD player with a Sony junction box that allows the signal to be sent to the TV in front or in back or both.
So the TV works fine and picture looks great using the antenna I tried to use the DVD player and I get double pictures on the front TV and only in black and white. I tried every possible setting combination I even hooked the DVD player directly to the TV. Anyone have an idea if this is fixable or is the DVD player just outdated?

Take a look at the setting on your TV. Your old TV was had a 4:3 screen ratio the new one is 16:9 it is also higher resolution. Your old DVD player with an A/V output was compatible with the old TV so on the new one you will need to tell how to handle a low resolution signal.

My suggestion would be to check craigslist for a couple cheap Blu-ray players. You should be able to get them for under $50 each. Direct wire via HDMI cables to each flat screen TV. You'll wind up with a much better picture and the bedroom TV can watch something different from the front.

Rob,
I'm sure Ronnies right. You need to use the TV remote and change the input signal on the TV.

I also agree that you will get a better picture with a Blu-ray player and HDMI cable. I used a cheap Radio Shack RF converter to connect the old RG58 cable to the Blu-ray and still port it to the rear TV. The nice thing about the Blu-ray is they play DVD's and CD's also.
