I was wondering if anyone has experience retrofitting an 1998 HR Endeavor with the Drainmaster system and the Wastemaster Cam Loc drain hose. I am picking up the MH this Friday and want to put this system on the MH.

No I have not but I bet that Doug of his technicians will walk you through the installation.

We put it on ours - 2000 Windsor....bought about 2' of 3" or 4" pipe and cut to fit so my camlock is actually facing down through the drain hole in bottom shelf of compartment. Not enough space there in ours to come out and then elbow otherwise. Plus, we wanted to be able to close door. If you want I'll post pics.

Hi Jim and Terri,
Congratulations on your new purchase! We are currently building a data base of coaches we have retrofitted so if you can send us a few photos of your water bay we can see what it will take to modify your water system. Downziser's coach may be very close to yours depending on length and interior layout. You know the old saying, A picture is worth ---- you know!

Doug

HarveyP,
We will not be at Quartzsite this year due to the overall expense it takes to go there for 10 days. Please always feel free to call us anytime. And as always, customers are welcome to come to our facility when in the area.

Bookman... sorry for the delay... was traveling and on a computer that didn't have the pictures of the change. As I said, I wanted to be able to close my door, so I elbowed down through the hole in the base of the cabinet to do so. First I cut off the bayonet right behind the 4 nubs so I then had a piece to sleeve. Then I just fitted everything so I could elbow down the hole. Cut to fit carefully before any glue... they are permanent fittings!!!!

Hey Doug.. What are the Cam-and-Groove fittings made of (body/handles)?

Jim,
The body is made of ABS and the handles are a nylon filled ABS and the pind holding them on the fitting are Stainless Steel. The large seal is Viton.

Thanks Doug... ABS body is ok, but any worries on having plastic arms? How much force can they take?

Jim,
We have yet to have one break, so under normal use, I suspect that they will last a long time.
