Drivers shade
I have 2006 Camelot, shade works in one direction and just twitches in the other. Monaco stated I have a Carefree 40 inch, it was $200.00. Curious if anyone knows if a motor can be replaced on those?

I used this motor to repair my carefree shades
DC Tubular Motors
Then purchased 1.5" EMT conduit and double sided sticky tape from Home Depot.
Easy fix.

Does it move at all while it twitches? When you set the limits, at least on the motor I used, you enter programming mode and the motor moves in very small steps so you can slowly approach the point where you want to set the limits. Once the limits are set the motor moves normally.
Think I would call Carefree and see if that is what might be going on.

I spoke to Carefree and they only suggested a new shade. If there is a program mode does anyone have information on it? Does it usually only have a problem in one direction if it were a program issue?

Look where the motor is and see if there are any small holes or hexagonal holes. That will usually indicate there is an external limit adjustment.

From the New York State DMV website:
How do I bring a vehicle I purchased in New York State to another state to register it there? You can apply for an interstate in-transit permit, which will allow you to transport a vehicle from a location in New York State to a location outside of New York State.
