Been sitting in Pensacola for almost a month at the Naval Air Station. Yesterday, I looked out the front window and the driver's side mirror glass had fallen out. Luckily the wires from the mirror defrost and the wires from the in-glass turn signal held the glass from hitting the ground. There is a 4" round pad that the glass is/was glued to. The pad moves the mirror up, down, left, and right. I have used a silicon glue to stick it back on. I will road test it Saturday. Man, just when you think every thing is fixed and working, up jumps another problem.

Update on mirror. Contacted Ramco Engineering, Inc. in Elkhart, IN and talked with Matt in their parts department. The part that the glass is glued to is a pad on a 4" dia. plastic ring that snaps onto the motor housing. The replacement part cost is less than $5 plus UPS. Life is back to being good again.
