Driving Mirror Flew Off

04 HR Ambassador. Leaving MN [19F] on trip to Phoenix driver's side lower convex mirror blew off two miles from home and is gone. I saw the thread on reattaching one, just wish I had one to stick back on. Anyone know where I might be able to buy a replacement? Source & part # would be a blessing. Don't see any Mfg data on the mirrors.
For what it's worth, I'll be using automotive double sided trim tape to put the replacement on when I find one.

If no name on the housing post a picture and someone will likely recognize it.

The mirror is likely either Velvac or Ramco. Do a google search and see if you can find a match.

If yours are the Ramco mirrors (most likely) the bottom convex mirrors are available from Ramco. I've had to replace both of mine, it's real easy. Even I could do it, at night while coach was parked at my storage lot. My mirrors are the Ramco 9000 series. They may even be available on amazon.

One solution would be to stop into a auto glass shop. Many have 1/8 mirror in stock. They can trace a paper pattern off your surface. Cut around the paper pattern. Then lay it on the mirror. Trace around it with a fine felt tip pen. Then they can cut it out of the 1/8 mirror. They will also have a wet belt sander to put a nice edge on it. I was in the glass business for many years and have done hundreds of these before. Not a big deal for someone who knows how. Only problem in doing it this way, the factory mirror has a very unnoticeable tint to it. It will make the headlights behind you a little brighter than your old mirror.
