Duo-Therm A/C making a humming noise?

Greetings to all:
My front A/C is making a humming noise on shore power but not when the generator is running. I believe I may have damage the transfer switch when the I ran the generator while being on shore power.

Any thoughts?

If I replace the transfer switch, any suggestions on a brand name for a replacement?

Thanks in advance

Running your generator while on shore power should not have damaged it.

What type of noise are you hearing. Do you know what voltage your shore power is running, possibly lower voltage could cause higher amperage and noise.

The noise appears to me the A/C is trying to run in the off mode. Is it possible to have stray voltage? Everything worked fine until I ran the generator connected to shore power.
