There are two ways to do what you are asking. One is to put the rig on a chassis dyno and run it up and see if all is working correctly by having it plugged into a computer and monitoring everything. This doesn't increase the power on an already good running motor but will sure show a problem on a bad motor so it can be fixed. Cummins does this at a lot of their service centers. The other way is to use a Bulldog type software loaded into the ECU and then put it on a dyno and adjust it for the best combination. Which way are you thinking about?

Thanks for the reply my rig runs great but was wondering about adjusting
for the combo of each rig to find out if it is worth haveing done I have heard a few storys about ecm updates that have destroyed ( changed )
settings and the GPM gallons per mile have go down etc.
also I would like to know if one can chang the tranny shift to a slightley
higher rpm for when climbing hills with out stuffing boot in it the rig will not shifr down till it reaches the bottom of the power range and by then it takes too long to re gain steam

any info will help as I am not knowlageable in this I have heard storrys about chassie dyno has helped with torq and millage
in this form I have read a lot of post put up by a lot of knowlageable
people
Thanks I am on a large learning curve
