I don't know anything about upsizing fuel tanks. Perhaps you could search for other threads on that, and if you don't find answers/opinions that way then start a new thread.

Mine has the negative brake signal in the fuse bay as well. I opted to not install a relay and tapped directly into the brake pressure switch for a brake signal. Has worked great so far.

Picture of it in this thread:

You coach is supposedly pre-wired for an electric brake controller. See this link. There are some other pertinent links off of this Web page, including a service bulletin regarding incorrect relay wiring from the factory on some coaches.

The wiring may have been installed for a U.S. Gear Unified Tow Brake, but should be able to be used for most brand of electric brake controls. I recommend using the factory wiring, if it's there.
Mark your link helped me to find the pre-wired harness in my 07 Diplomat.. I had spent hours going thru the wire jungle under the dash and behind the steering wheel.. I never would have thought to look under the shifter pad console, where Monaco had it tucked away.. Many thanks to the search feature and all the great posts you folks make with helpful information..

Mark, any chance you can post the link to the right connector for the factory harness.....exactly what I'm trying to do right now.

If you've got the 3 x 2 (pins) white connector that's about 1/2" x 1", then it's a standard Amp Mate-N-Lok or Mate-N-Lok II connector. Monaco used lots of them. I buy mine from Allied Electronics, mainly because they're willing to sell in small quantities. The connectors come in female "cap" and male "plug" versions, and the pins are available in several sizes. You'll need the 10-12 AWG ones for the 12V and output brake signal wires, and 14-20 AWG ones for the rest.

70083493 1-480704-0 Connector, Soft Shell; Universal MATE-N-LOK; 6; Plug; Nylon; Natural; 19 A
70083505 1-480705-0 Connector, Soft Shell; Universal MATE-N-LOK; 6; Receptacle (Cap); Nylon; 19 A

70083979 350547-1 PRE-TINNED BRASS, UNIVERSAL PIN; 20-14AWG
70083980 350550-1 PRE-TINNED BRASS, UNIVERSAL SOCKET; 20-14AWG

[don't have the part number handy for a 10-12 pin]
70083329 640310-3 Connector SOCKET 10-12AWG TIN

If, instead, you have the 4-pin U.S. Gear UTB (Unified Trailer Brake) connector, it's a different part. I have the part number for that shell and pins, too.
