Electrical question

Hi all. This is my first post but I've been following the threads for some time and have learned a ton. Thanks for that.

We recently purchased a 2000 Holiday Rambler Navigator (43 PBD) and there are a couple of electrical problems I'm trying to troubleshoot. The first is the RV30 Charge Controller which is located in the rear bedroom. It hasn't powered up since we purchased it, so I'm not sure the solar panel is doing anything. I've tried to locate the fuse or breaker for it as the first step in my troubleshoot, but no luck. Does anyone know where that might be?

The second is our RC7 Remote Control, which is located above the entry door. When plugged into shore power and everything indicates a full 100% battery charge, it has this fast clicking sound that never goes away. It has just started doing this in the past couple of months. Any idea why it's doing that or how do I make it stop? I've gone through the menu settings and followed the manual, but no luck.

Any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Check the voltage at the input of the Charge controller. (with a hand held meter) You can also check the solar panel voltage with no wires hooked up. Pretty much all troubleshooting requires that you can use a meter.

I don't know anything about the RC7 but I know many issues are connector related. I suggest you reseat (unplug and plug in) what ever you can.

I have also the RV30 Charge Controller and both fuse (for Chassis and Domestic Batteries) are located near the both Battery in a separate fuse holder for each battery.

Sorry, i have no idea with the RC7 Remote Control.

I havew2 fuses for the solar controller, they are located in the passenger side rear electrical compartment. I had low amperage charging when I first bought our rig, turned out that the 2 Kyocera solar panels were bad. Contacted them and it turned out that they were both part of a extended warranty and were replaced free of charge.

You might try resetting the RC7 remote, can't remember the specific procedure but it is in the manual.
