I had a set of SS Ski's installed last April on my large roadside drop-down floor slide. The bottom rear edge of the slide was showing some slight deterioration wear from the slide going in and out. The front still looked OK. They pointed this wear out to me (luckily) as I had not noticed it.

The coach is a 2002 delivered in 9/2001 so it has had LOTS of use since then.

The SS Ski's will last longer than you or the coach, trust me. They are thick heavy duty and installed with countersunk screws into the bottom of the slide.

My slide bottoms had no protection when built at the factory unlike yours. However the other two standard flat floor slides show no wear so far.
