After buying my 2001 monaco monarc, I have found out that the V10 engine has spark plug problems that I hope I don't have to cope with, and emergency brake is froze and Ford does not make parts, just new assembly's to the tune of around $1800. Do any of you folks know of aftermarket assys that can be had? Oh people I bought it from are going to fix it, but I want it done right.
Glad Pa has an inspection requirement. Thats how the problem was found.
Its a 2000 ford chassis. E53?
Thanks,
Con

What do you mean by froze? Will the rear wheels move? Just might need a good lubrication.

Brake system will not move. Like cable froze. Coach sat for two years before I bought it. Truthfully I have not even had the chance to try it. Going by mechanics description of problem.
I am the guy who never even drove the unit. Just am to trusting.

Spark Plug Ejected From Engine | FordProblems.com This might help on the spark plug problem. I had a 2000 coachman V-10 with over 60,000 miles and had no problems. Well I had problems with the coachman but not with the V-10.

Your problem could be from just sitting for a while and the brakes are stuck. Try rocking the coach back and forth a few times and see if this helps.
