I have recently purchased a 2004 holiday rambler endeavor PDQ. The unit is in amazing shape and everything works well. However, there is an alarm that sounds when the unit is put into drive. It usually goes out after a few beeps but sometimes it sounds for long periods of time. All the gauges are in acceptable range and there are no lights on the dash that are lit. Any suggestions on what to look for? The jacks are up, the slides are in, the air pressure is good, we have tried disconnecting the fluid sensor and thats not it either. Any suggestions?

Check the fluid level of the jacks.

Try disengaging the air parking brake, wait about 10-15 seconds then put it into gear. I have an 02 endeavor that does the same thing if I am too quick to put it into gear. It takes a few seconds for the parking brake to disengage completely.

justgary.....It is a common problem. It's the pressure switch attached to the bottom of your parking brake switch. Monaco is actually the best place to get it. I think it was either $35.00 or $45.00. It's just a screw in fitting about the size of your thumb. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a photo and parts description. It was originally an email from Monaco and I can't load the info here.

Concur with what Don identified. I have your same problem, but because my alarm usually quits within 30 seconds or less, I've not bothered to fix it!! Sometimes this alarm doesn't sound at all, or sounds for only 2 to 3 seconds. So I just ignore it and drive off....noting (mentally) that the brakes are not dragging as I do so.

I have the same yr and configuration as you. First, walk around and make sure all jacks are all the way up. Check the fluid level. ( located in the A/C road side fan location) takes that wierd tool to open. The sensor is right in your face. Mess with it a little. It is really really fun doing 60mph down the road and have the thing go off. Wakes the dog. Sweaty palms, the whole thing. First time it happened to me I slammed on the breaks and pulled off the road. Found if you place it in neutral and cycle the parking brake it will finally go off. OR... save yourself from getting a heart attack and replace the thingy mentioned before for about $30.00. I find that travelling alone the buzzer keeps me entertained somewhat.

Been there done it and repaired it on my 2004 Endeavor sensor below the parking brake switch. Park stop sensor.

Most likely it is a Nason sensor P/N sm-1c-66r/wp28 call them 800-229-4955, but first call Moanco Parts at 877-332-9239 give them your coach number and they will tell you the part #. Let me know,
