I can see the use for THE Brakeswitch on level roads, but after today's ride through Yellowstone, having to activate the exhaust brake by having to press the brake pedal is much more work than I'm want to do. I prefer the way it is for mountain driving and steep downgrades. I hardly touch my brake pedal with the exhaust brake activated.

It seems like a lot more work. ??
"having to activate the exhaust brake by having to press the brake pedal is much more work than I'm want to do."??
I assume you simply forgot to add LOL, (or a ), to those statements?

With the brake switch installed I activate my PacBrake with the brake pedal and turn it off off with the throttle....and the PacBrake does the downshifting for me.
I can keep both hands on the wheel while descending steep grades or when in stop and go traffic.
(OR I can steer with one hand and drink a beer with the other)..LOL
